Armour Absorption is how good your armor is at standing between you and inevitability. Each point of Armour Absorption removes one point of mundane damage types (eg. crushing, slashing, and blasting). It is primarily influence by the armour worn by the player, but is also influenced by certain skills.

Each point of armour absorption affects how much damage from physical sources are removed before the character is hit. Most higher tier armour has this attribute, and it is important for a melee fighter to mitigate as much incoming damage as possible instead of solely relying on dodge and block chance.
